Pray

Prayer is the most important exercise of our faith and the way in which we daily receive God's benefits (Calvin).
An important ministry of our church is prayer - we want to be a church that prays together because we know God is in control. Here you will find information about what you can be praying for us as a church, as well as for our Christian brothers and sisters in South Africa and around the world.

Pray for RC the Bult
Our leaders - That they would grow in wisdom and character (1 Tim 3:1-7).
Our ministries - That we would serve people in love (Galatians 5:13).
Our character - That we would grow in Christlikeness (Colossians 2:7).
Our meetings - That we would have no divisions amongst us (1 Cor 11:18).

Pray for Potchefstroom
Our University - New Christian students to be light and salt in their hostels (Matthew 5:13-16).
Our Town - That churches will clearly teach and proclaim the gospel that all people in our town might come to a knowledge of the truth (1 Tim 2:3-6).

Pray for South Africa
Our leaders - To make wise decisions as they govern our land and that they will be servants of the SA people (Matthew 20:26).
Our justice system - That those who do wrong will be punished, those who are innocent will not be condemned (Proverbs 29:4).
Our religious freedom - That we as Christians may have freedom to live peaceful and quiet lives (1 Timothy 2:2).

Pray for Christians around the world
Persecuted - That they would persevere under tribulation (Heb 10:32-39) and bless those who persecute them (Rom 12:14).
In conflict situations - For believers to stand firm in their faith (1 Pet 5:8-10).
Our partners - Koos Hagg in Vietnam to keep his eyes on Jesus, persevere with his ministry work and not grow weary or lose heart (Heb 12:1-3).
